Hi friends, let’s talk about fall fashion! How in the world is fall already here! Let’s just say I’m overly excited about it! It’s my favourite since its not too hot and not too cold! We get the best of both worlds. I’ll also be celebrating my birthday during the fall!
What I love about fall is that you get the chance to really be creative with the layering of your clothes. You can do whatever you want…and set your style apart from the rest. This is when you’ll be seeing the most exciting street styles…in my opinion!
Now, let me introduce to you my 7 favourite fall fashion trends.
The one print that I’ve been wanting to try out is the leopard print! I was never sure if I could pull it off. But I’ll take the jump! Find an amazing leopard print piece and rock it! I’m also thinking Zebra print…let me put my hands on a leopard print top, pants, coat or even boots first!
White booties are continuing on and back this fall. I for one approve. Looking to get myself a pair of white booties.
Tweed coats are everything! Not only are they warm but they are classy! Always a great staple to have in your closet. You can also find tweed skirts and dresses too! They will keep you warm during the fall.
What can I say about leather?! I fell in love with leather clothes a few years ago…It was almost like I never new it could be possible and then I found the light! I own baggy leather trousers, pleated leather skirt and leather leggings. Currently on the look out for an A-line leather skirt, pencil skirt and an amazing leather jacket! I haven’t owned a leather jacket for a while now – I’ve been looking for the Perfect one! I haven’t found it yet…
To be honest I didn’t know it was called a Shearling Coat! I always called its teddy coat. lol It looks so cozy! I want one!
I don’t think I’ve ever owned a floral anything. Not a top, not a skirt, not a dress…or boots. but I’d definitely like to give it a try if I were to find the perfect print that works for me.
Lastly, plaid obviously! What is fall without plaid?! Plaid is a basic fall staple. I have two plaid shirts and they are both black and white! Yes! I know, I need to venture out into a little bit more colour this season. I haven’t found the perfect red one yet…Plaid can be worn as a top, as pants and as a coat!
I AM SO EXCITED FOR FALL!!! For the fashion, the styles, and the fresh beginnings (for those of you starting a new school year). Can’t wait to get into all the warm and cozy sweaters and coats out there! and drinking my favourite drink – London Fog! <3
